I probably should have posted this one yesterday, and first, but I guess I'm unconventional like that. Whaatttt.
It took me three and half hours, three different people, & two websites to feel comfortable about making this new blog live. When it comes to things that are important to me, that I love, or that will represent myself with magnitude, you could say I'm just a tad picky with a dash of perfectionist - I want everything to be just right. If I don't feel like it's the way I want it, I won't ever be happy with it. But that's okay, right? It just shows that I put a lot of dedication into what I do... right? At least, that's how I'm going to justify myself.
Thus, with all this fastidious effort, The Social Flow hath birthed. I feel like everything can have a birthday, and I mean technically it does - rather you think it's socially acceptable or not. Of course people do, because we like to have something that's special to just us, and where people can be happy for us on our one day. As of right now, we're at the top of the organism chain (as far as we know), so we also think we deserve it. Animals we love have birthdays too, but what about things that aren't higher organisms or non-living objects? Let me explain.

My plants have birthdays (They range), my Blog has a birthday (April 25th, 2014), and my student organization (September 9th, 2013) I founded even has a birthday. I feel like things I'm very passionate and meticulous with deserves a birthday, and why not? There isn't any birthday police that restricts anyone from doing so. Besides, we live in a world where teenagers sag their pants, and shout YOLO for the dumbest activities - I don't think giving my lucky bamboo plant a birthday is hell freezing over. I'm thinking about planting two new vegetable seeds for Spring, feel free to congratulate me on having twins.
Live free. Be kind.
Stay loyal. Smile often.
#Always
